The Heart Behind the Art

I’m a children’s book illustrator based in Lagos, Nigeria. I create whimsical, magical artwork for picture books and chapter books that spark imagination and bring heartfelt stories to life.
My love for storytelling began long before I knew it could be a career. As a child, I recreated cut-out game boards from video game magazines, made my own comics, and wrote and illustrated stories purely for the joy of it. Drawing wasn’t just a hobby—it was how I understood the world. Throughout school, I was always sketching, building characters, and imagining new worlds.

Inspired by Wonder
That early passion grew into a lifelong pursuit. Today, my work is inspired by the animated films I grew up loving—the kind filled with expressive characters, rich worlds, humor, and heart. I strive to bring that same sense of wonder and warmth into every project I illustrate.

Professional Experience
With over five years of professional experience, I’ve collaborated with publishing houses such as iChampion Publishing, Bear With Us Productions, and Nimalz Kidz, as well as various independent authors.

Life Beyond the Studio
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy teaching children how to draw, playing football on weekends, and connecting with friends through video games. I draw every single day, continually refining my craft to create artwork that resonates deeply with young readers.

For me, illustration isn’t just about making beautiful images—it’s about creating moments of magic that children will remember long after the last page is turned.
